Financial Aid, Reimbursement, and Tax Deduction

Financial aid, reimbursement, and tax deduction opportunities for education expenses vary from State to State. Homeschool expenses, including for online courses, are generally not reimbursable or deductible. However, reimbursements and deductions are often available for courses taken from an accredited school (like TPS). In some States, there are even greater reimbursement or aid opportunities for students registered in an accredited high school diploma program (including with TPS).

  • Each family is responsible for working with their own State or private scholarship providers. TPS does not provide any financial aid support or assistance. We also do not delay or defer payments to support individual financial aid processes.
  • TPS supports payments made by ClassWallet, which is used by some States for State-sponsored reimbursement and aid programs. (Since ClassWallet must be registered by TPS in each State, please contact TPS to verify or establish registration in your State before enrolling because we cannot delay or defer your initial payment.)
  • TPS provides standard payment receipts by email (i.e., we provide an email receipt for every payment).
  • We will also provide (upon request) a Final Statement after all payments are completed for the academic year.
  • We cannot provide any additional or custom reports, records, or documents to assist with your individual tax and reimbursement claims.
